Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to work in our Engineering team focussed on our Defence programmes.
Key responsibilities:
- Electrical engineering point of contact for a major control systems project
- Maintain schematics
- Resolve hardware issues during production build
- Resolve hardware issues during qualification
- Support test equipment design
- Support the running of functional and test equipment during testing phases
- Change management
- Field modification creation
- Quotations for change
- Understanding of PID control systems

Please note for this particular role, all candidates must be eligible for SC - UK EYES ONLY clearance and therefore be a sole British National passport holder.

Skills & Experience
Essential requirements;
PLC hardware/software experience
Electrical safety testing knowledge and practical application
Knowledge of PID control systems
Knowledge and use of AutoCAD Electrical
Preferred requirements;
HNC/D or Engineering Degree
Production and panel building experience
