Role Overview

The Global EHS Manager is responsible for the ongoing management of EH&S, ensuring the company maintains compliance to all applicable standards and regulations across its global operation.

This challenging role is for an experienced EHS professional, looking to join a commercial and global navigation systems design, manufacture and service support organisation.

Where you will be developing and  improving the  approach to and application of EHS policies and processes, in alignment with relevant standards and regulations both in the operation of the business as well as the solutions it creates and deploys for its customers.

The role will have a considerable focus on ensuring that product sustainment, is considered at all stages of a products lifecycle.

The role will involve a level of travel to other NGSM sites and key suppliers, mainly but not limited to  Europe, for the achievement of the roles responsibilities.

It requires close collaboration and communication with local Site EHS Representatives in the achievement of planned EHS activities.
Skills & Experience
 Ideally you are:
                An EHS Professional with extensive auditing experience.
 
Experienced at the following:
                Non-Conformance and CAPA Management    
                Able to interpret standards and regulations and apply them to processes and procedures.
                Setting EHS objectives.    
                Risk & Opportunities Management
                Able to determine applicable EHS KPI's and present data to leaders.
                Team manage a small team and task manage local EHS site reps.
                Determine and monitor appropriate EHS training to a global workforce through the Learning Management System
     
Have knowledge on:
                  ISO 14001 Standard
                  Waste Management
                  Legal Compliance
                  EHS Aspects and Impacts
     
Desirable:      
                Global Management Experience Desirable
                Lead Auditor Certified                 
 
All of our roles require successful candidates to undergo and maintain a Baseline Personnel Security Standard and/or United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) to obtain a Security Check (SC) without restrictions.
