Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Platform Analyst to join our global IT team, from our Head Office in New Malden, delivering business support and change. Supporting the Head of IT, this role will provide platforms support, ensuring the company’s IT platforms are monitored and maintained in line with published SLAs and lifecycle management for the global Sperry Marine business. 

Key responsibilities include managing and supporting;
 
  • Server hardware in a virtual environment
  • PC Hardware and Windows operating systems
  • Deployment and configuration of PCs, peripherals and applications in accordance with agreed NGSM IT standards
  • Printing and related issues
  • Microsoft Exchange and email filtering or gateway technologies
  • Windows Active Directory forest administration
  • Workspace One UEM (AirWatch) MDM and Samsung Phone administration
  • Data storage, backup and redundancy

 

Skills & Experience
We're looking for an individual with proven, strong experience of Platforms and who is a real team player.
 

Required:

  • 2nd and 3rd line, client facing support role
  • Service desk and call logging systems
  • Microsoft Windows OS
  • Windows server support under ESX environment
  • SAN, NAS and directly connected storage solutions
  • Windows Active Directory
  • Microsoft Exchange Systems
  • Microsoft DPM
  • Windows deployment, update and reporting technologies
  • Dell laptop and desktop hardware
  • Workspace One UEM (AirWatch) MDM Platform administration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good writing and communication skills in the English language
  • Be able to explain complex information in simple, clear terms to both IT and non-IT personnel
Desirable:
 
  • Cloud Solutions
  • Knowledge of the marine environment
  • Microsoft Windows qualifications such as MCSA or MCSE
  • Video and room based collaboration solutions
