Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts and Compliance Administrator to join our team in our Vlaardingen office, supporting the Contracts and Compliance Management teams in Sperry Marine. The Contracts and Global Trade Compliance team is a busy operation providing support to colleagues around the world, with a focus on North America, Europe and Asia. This is a perfect role for someone who thrives in a busy environment, and is a real team player.
 
Key responsibilities of the role include;
  • Support on country and vessel compliance checks to ensure Sperry Marine does not contract with any denied parties.
  • Drafting, negotiating and executing standard contractual documents (Sales, Distribution, NDAs etc.)
  • Prepare signoff packs for management approval, providing redline and document highlighting baselines and potential commercial / legal issues.
  • Administration of contracts and related information within Sperry’s ERP system.
  • Assist and run training, presentations and audits upon the various internal processes involved with.
  • Prepare and submit internal / external reports as and when required.
Skills & Experience
Required:
  • Excellent English language (spoken and written form),
  • Administrative experience in customer focussed positions
  • An understanding of international trade / business standards,
  • An understanding in commercial trade terms & conditions,
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of international Export regulations
  • Proactive approach to resolution of customer related issues
  • Good understanding, knowledge and ability to work with MS Office programs (MS Word, Excel etc),
Acquirable:
  • Knowledge and ability to work with ERP systems such as BaaN, IFS, etc.
  • Ability to draft commercial contracts, agreements, terms & conditions and to negotiate such for the benefit of the company
  • Knowledge of maritime industry
