Role Overview
This is a key role within the HR Department and Vlaardingen site and you will be responsible for providing support across a range of activities under the guidance of the HR Business Partner. We are a global team therefore being able to work on your own initiative is of paramount importance.
 
HR Activities
  • Provide local HR administrative support to the HRBP, managers and employees in relation to regular and ad-hoc business needs
  • Assist in recruitment and on-boarding process of new staff members
  • Registrate and coordinate training for employees
  • Keep personnel files up to date and prepare forms for salary administration
  • Coordinate and handle absence administration
  • Escalate HR concerns and issues to site management and the HRBP
  • Support rollout of HR projects such as employee survey as required
  • Support annual merit review process 
Site Support:
  • Coordinate employment related events
  • Distribute HR announcements / communication / invitations to Dutch employees
  • Handle daily incoming HR relevant mail
Skills & Experience
  • You have strong experience in supporting human resources functions
  • You show demonstrable strength in developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with employees, leadership and HR colleagues
  • You have basic knowledge of relevant labour law
  • You are familiar with MS Office applications
  • You are confident and have articulate written and verbal communication skills to support 1:1 communications
  • You are fluent in Dutch and have a very good command of written and spoken English
