Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join the Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine Shanghai team. This role has responsibility for contributing to the implementation and execution of NGSM HR policies and processes in China and Singapore branch offices by developing and directing HR activities, within the framework of corporate, sector, division and company policies.

HRBP (Asia):

  • Support the developing and monitoring of the annual HR budget
  • Support the development and execution of the roll-out and administration of programs and processes in the branches to align the contributions of the workforce with the strategic goals of the company
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Provide HR policy guidance
  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals
  • Develop and maintain HR intranet page
  • Work closely on regional marketing support for market event, Marintec China
  • Be a champion of change to successfully link change to the strategic needs of the organization, and minimize employee dissatisfaction and resistance to change
  • Ensure NGSM Asia has the leadership and their successors to deliver its strategic plan
Site Manager (China):
  • Build teamwork, lead and build team spirit for entire China team
  • Work with local managers to improve cross functional collaboration
  • Implement and act on company policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies, local laws and requirements
Skills & Experience
  • Strong HR experience in a multinational corporation
  • Thorough knowledge of labour legislation
  • Experience of managing Employee Relationship in China
  • Ability to research industry practice and legal context to advise on HR policy and practice
  • Leadership presence and confidence to communicate and guide the China office
  • Strong team work and collaboration skills
  • Solid business ethics and integrity
  • Strong communication skill - including fluent English writing and speaking skills
  • Proactive and independent problem solving skill
  • Proficient in Microsoft office software,eg. excel, PPT etc
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in human resources, business management is better
