Role Overview
In the global maritime world all news - good and bad - travels fast. Your job is to control it. Although English is the dominant language this is an international and multi cultural business with many interlinked stake holders.  As the industry transitions from hardware to services it is bringing opportunities and challenges. The requirement for clear, concise and repeated communication of key messages has never been greater. Can you add value?

Current communication channels include social media, website, exhibitions & seminars. These all need to be brought into a coherent narrative with an agreed annual delivery schedule. But the role, and the ambition of the company, calls for much more: image, references, marshalling our distributor base, product labelling and documentation etc. are all in need of re-energising and bringing into a coherent campaign.

This role can be based out of our London, Hamburg, Copenhagen or Vlaardingen office.
Skills & Experience
Clarity of thought, simple messaging and the organisational skills to ensure a co-ordinated approach from all colleagues will be central to being successful in this role. A good understanding of the Maritime business, whilst not essential, will give the successful candidate a head start in delivering value.

Useful previous experience might also include working for a manufacturer, cross cultural communications, independent world wide travel, marketing software and services, development and implementation of social media frameworks and marshalling and executing exhibition and advertising campaigns.

Above all the successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they have the energy and tenacity to drive change through an otherwise established and successful business with sufficient leadership to bring colleagues along on the journey.
