Role Overview

The Service Coordination team is responsible for the end to end handling of all the incoming service requests, both locally and globally, and are a key point of contact for our customers, providing a 24/7 worldwide service. This is a fast paced and challenging environment because the ships we look after are constantly on the move - it's all about being able to work out how to get the right part to the right ship, via the closest Service Engineer at the right time.

The role of the Service Coordinator Team Lead is to lead, develop and manage a team of Service Coordinators in line with customer requirements. It reports directly into the Global Business Processing Manager and is a perfect role for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys leading and developing team and has experience in a customer facing role. This role can be based out of our London, Hamburg, Copenhagen or Vlaardingen office.
 
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Ensure that the day to day Service Coordination operation runs smoothly, ensuring that all service requests are managed in a timely manner
  • Be at hand for the team both answering enquires and providing support
  • Plan and manage a busy workload across the team and maintain a high presence within the work space
  • Maximise results through building and maintaining effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Work effectively and creatively to achieve targets through managing trends and continuously improving processes and ways of working, confident to test new ways of working to engage the team
  • Enhance and develop the existing capabilities of a team

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or service coordination role is essential

  • Fluent English language written and spoken
  • Experience within the maritime advantageous
