Role Overview
We have an opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our friendly Finance team at our Head Office in New Malden, Surrey. The successful candidate will support the Financial Controller Europe and regional Branch Accountants to ensure that the financial accounts of the company are accurate, fully reconciled and that reporting deadlines are met. 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Month End reporting
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation and posting of accruals and prepayments
  • Review of UK overhead costs
  • Assistance with annual budgeting process
  • Fixed Asset reporting
  • Statutory audit and filing responsibility for UK Branch
  • Assistance with Statutory audit for Europe
  • Review and approval of payroll and employee expenses for UK branch
  • Manage UK credit card programmes
  • Monthly intercompany netting
  • Any ad hoc financial reporting/requirement including requests from NG
  • Point of contact re queries from Planning team, AR or AP
Skills & Experience


  • ACCA/CIMA qualified or similar
  • Strong Accounting/Finance knowledge and experience (min 3 years)
  • Team player able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to drive and deliver process improvement
  • Good Office and IT skills; especially Excel


  • Knowledge of the marine environment
  • US GAAP & Dutch GAAP knowledge
  • IFS knowledge
