Role Overview

This HR generalist role covers the full scope of HR responsibilities with particular focus on the redesign of practices and processes following a restructure and re-engaging the organisation after a period of change.

Key Responsibilities:

Generalist HR

  • Develop, implement and administer employment policies and procedures in line with corporate policy and legislative changes
  • Manage employee relations cases including downsizing, performance management, grievance and discipline
  • Acts as a key point of the contact for the employees and leaders in the business unit
  • Proactively support the delivery of business / HR processes and actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks and positive employee experience
  • Manages complex HR projects cross-functionally
  • Co-ordinate talent acquisition process and direct recruitment of key talent
  • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
  • Compensation and benefits for UK organisation including merit planning 

Global activity lead

  • To co-ordinate & develop company engagement and inclusion initiatives across the company and specifically for site
  • Co-ordinate L&D offerings and process
  • Process redesign
Skills & Experience
  • Problem solving approach with strong analytical / numerical skills with intermediate MS excel skills
  • Understanding of UK employment law and solid grounding in ER practice
  • Talent Acquisition experience including direct search
  • Strong professional experience in HR role
  • CIPD qualified
  • Evidence of a customer focused approach
  • Confident and articulate written and verbal communication skills to support 1:1 and group communications
  • Demonstrable strength in developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with leadership, employees and HR colleagues
  • Strong work ethic and ability to manage a range of short and long term priorities to completion
  • Commercial acumen and demonstrate understanding of how HR function best supports business objectives.
  • Experience of successful project and change management experience
  • Strong IT proficiency to deliver process and communications improvements in HR
  • Anticipate and plan for long term human resources needs and trends to support the business
