Role Overview
Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine is looking for an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) professional to lead and manage EHS globally across NGSM sites. You will develop and continuously improve the processes, procedures and adherence to all applicable standards and regulations.
 
Ensuring the internal audit plan is maintained and all Non-Conformities are effectively managed, provide EHS monthly analysis, co-ordinate EHS activities with team members and local EHS site reps at NGSM sites.
 
Ensure risk assessments are completed and up-to date, maintain Inventory of Hazardous Materials for NGSM product portfolio.
 
Provide the necessary EHS training to all NGSM employees through the LMS and ensure all applicable legal, compliance databases are maintained.
 
Act as NGSM's expert on all matters related to EHS management.
Skills & Experience
 Ideally you are:
                An EHS Professional with extensive auditing experience.
 
Experienced at the following:
                Non-Conformance and CAPA Management    
                Able to interpret standards and regulations and apply them to processes and procedures.
                Setting EHS objectives.    
                Risk & Opportunities Management
                Able to determine applicable EHS KPI's and present data to leaders.
                Team manage a small team and task manage local EHS site reps.
                Determine and monitor appropriate EHS training to a global workforce through the Learning Management System
     
Have knowledge on:
                  ISO 14001 Standard
                  Waste Management
                  Legal Compliance
                  EHS Aspects and Impacts
     
Desirable:      
                Global Management Experience Desirable
