Role Overview

As a Project Controller at Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine (NGSM) you will assist Senior Project Controllers and the project team in effectively and proactively controlling multi-million pound projects across the NGSM portfolio. You will actively develop, maintain and execute complex project performance baselines by adhering to robust project controls processes and procedures to deliver best value for our customers.

Skills & Experience
• Experience working in a similar role in the Defence or, construction, rail, oil and gas or manufacturing industry
• Understanding of project management / project business context
• Advanced user of Primavera P6
• Experience using cost management and finance systems
• Advanced user of MS Excel, and usual MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication (both written/verbal) and listening skills
• An enthusiasm to volunteer and share opinions and views with internal and external stakeholders, and an ability to persuade others.
• Training and mentoring within a cohesive team environment
• Good organisational skills

• An ability to persuade others.
• Demonstrated Project Controls, Planning, Cost Management, experience in a similar role in the defence or, construction, rail, oil and gas or manufacturing industries
• Competent in EVMS methodologies and project controls software
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance or construction management discipline. Advanced Degree preferred.
