Role Overview

An ERP Manager must have the ability to exercise overall day-to-day control of IFS system and the resources of the system, balancing the needs for system success with the skills and capabilities of the staff. The ERP Manager should also be a good communicator and must interact regularly and comfortably across various departments -- from individual to the IFS ERP Project Team & IT Support in order to negotiate solutions that foster strong relationships and continued success of the IFS ERP system.

Role Description
Implement and lead effective system support and change management processes for system enhancements and changes when required and gains approval for such changes across the business.

Responsible for creating and maintaining a monthly process that incorporates actual financial performance to budget and justifies all variances; accurately forecasts expenditures in alignment with the IFS ERP budget and supports the budgeting process throughout the system lifecycle. He/she also must follow the company's financial, Works Council and audit and change management processes and policies.

The position holder is responsible for making timely, effective decisions at the system BAU level and communicating those decisions both up and down the company structure, while approaching needed decisions in a logical and thoughtful manner and weighing conflicting information.

Willing to take leadership of change processes and demonstrate qualities including the ability to motivate, inspire, counsel and facilitate individuals and teams to take responsibility and accountability for proper IFS ERP usage will be an added advantage.  Ideally, an in-depth understanding of IFS ERP, along with a systematic, process-orientated approach to BAU support of the IFS ERP system. 

Key Responsibilities:-
1   Act as the subject matter expert for IFS ERP ensuring the system is used consistently and effectively across all business units.
2   Investigating data issues to determine root cause and pass back to originating team to fix or highlight functionality issues.
3   Gain knowledge of the reports available from the ERP system including configuration.
4   Work closely with the Head of IT to ensure IFS ERP systems are fully utilised across all disciplines in the business.
5   Educate and coach the user community around importance of data input quality into the system.
6   Facilitate regular WSL/Super User sessions to check in on system performance, issues and update on future plans for improvements.
7   Regular evaluation of system related procedures across the business and making requests or improvements where necessary.

8   Establish change control processes & procedures for the following:
•New starter & Leaver Process
•Permission & Profile grants, changes and enhancements.
•IFS ERP system updates & patches.
•Develop processes for specifications to address process, report and general system modifications or updates including Lobby development.
•Identify training needs and provide guidance & direction for IFS Basic Training, remedial training and working with WSL to enhance training guides.
•Train new starters in IFS Basic training (non-functional).

Skills & Experience

Essential Experience:-

• Demonstrated disciplined and systematic approach to process, procedures and problem solving in support of the business.
• Ability to learn the functionality and data flows within the IFS ERP system in use within the business.
• Working cross functionally in experience of working across a range of stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of specifications & the importance of change control in the BAU operations.

Desirable Knowledge / Skills
• Possess a detailed knowledge of the IFS ERP system and the data flows within it.
• Experience of giving process or system training.
• Wide ranging experience of IFS related modules.
