Role Overview

We're looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant, to manage Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine’s Financial Planning Group and oversee the Commercial and UK Defence Business Management.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the team of financial analysts, Commercial Business Manager and UK Defence Business Manager
• Manage the forecasting process monthly and the planning process annually by consolidating inputs for all business areas, providing review and challenging stakeholders to meet company financial commitments
• Coordination and support of the functional budget process for all regions
• Management of overhead rates within the set parameters
• Manage internal management reporting and accounting
• Managing / carry out the period closing activities for Inventories, Sales / COS, Warranty, including reconciliation of BS and auditing through Deloitte
• Oversee Commercial and UK Defence Business Management roles and responsibility and provide guidance in relation to
• Financial analysis
• Investment decision
• Pricing and strategic discussion
• Independent risk analysis
• organizational policies
• Reporting
• Communication with US – Sector Planning where necessary
• Continuous Process improvement
• Manage the performance and development of the team

Skills & Experience

Required:
• Chartered Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW)
• Advanced excel and analytical ability
• Leadership, communication and influencing skills
• Pro-active solution provider
• Flexible and motivated for process improvement

Acquirable:
• BAAN ERP
• Foreign languages
