Role Overview

We are seeking an IoT/Cloud Administrator/support engineer to join our team in either New Malden, in the UK or Vlaardingen in the Netherlands.

Ever-improving ship to shore connectivity and the adoption of IoT/Industry 4.0 techniques opens up exciting new digital opportunities in the marine domain. The Technology Group within NGSM is responsible for bringing conceptual capabilities through development and into an operational state to add new digital solutions to the existing product portfolio.

Working under the direction of the Digital Product Manager, you will be responsible for the setting up of the platform functional and security architecture, be involved in developing deployment strategies for application software and responsible for user management in both the development and production environments. You will have the opportunity to influence the specification, design and integration of new digital capabilities.

Skills & Experience

Required Skills:

  • A thorough understanding of Microsoft Azure VM and cloud services
  • The ability to implement and support cloud services on Azure
  • The ability to implement and support Virtual servers, Database and Active Directory

Preferred Skills:

  • Azure experience including architecture, development, implementation, configuration, working with workflows, lists, etc.
  • Experience with PowerShell

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working with Virtual servers, Azure IoT, Active Directory and Microsoft cloud products
